Class Schedule
A general schedule for the classes I currently offer. This is a tentative schedule and subject to change. 
Details of individual classes will be on the "Classes" page when registration is open. 

Daytime classes for Homeschoolers can be arranged at a mutually agreeable time with at least 2 committed students. 

 January:

            Beginning Machine Sewing  for Kids/Adults

            Age specific classes to teach the basics of using a sewing machine.

February:  

            Seasonal pillow/ tote bag: Winter/Spring

            A one-session class for each NO SEW project. 

March:     

            Child Hand Sewing 

            My youngest class, to teach children how to use a needle and thread.

            A daytime "camp" scheduled during Spring  Break.

April:

           Beginning clothing: Child's Dress

           Learn to read a commercial sewing pattern and understand the industry vocabulary.

           Learn sewing skills needed for many clothing items.            

May:  

           Seasonal pillow/Tote bag: Spring/Summer

           A one-session class for each NO SEW project.

           Mending Clothing: We will work through the mending jobs needed on the clothing brought by attendees, using                   both hand and machine methods. 

June:

           Beginning clothing: Lounge Pants

           Learn to read a commercial sewing pattern and understand the industry vocabulary.

           Learn sewing skills needed for many clothing items. 

          Tween/Teen clothing: A "camp" schedule. We will learn how to use commercial clothing patterns and make                           several simple skirts in different styles. 

July:

            Seasonal pillow/Tote bag: Sum/Fall

            A one-session class for each NO SEW project.

            Beginning Machine Sewing  for Kids/Adults

            Age specific classes to teach the basics of using a sewing machine.

August:

            Doll Clothes by Machine

            A teen/adult class. Learn clothing skills with minimal fabric investment.

            Could be a day or evening schedule. Clothes fit an 18" doll.

            Doll Clothes by Hand

            A kids' class making very simple garments. Daytime "camp" schedule.

            Pattern options for several popular doll sizes.

September:

            Begin Quilting 1

            Principles of quilt design and necessary skills.

            Begin Quilting 2

            Add triangles and bindings to your quilting skills.

October:

            Seasonal pillow/Tote bag: Fall/Winter

            A one-session class for each NO SEW project.

November:

            Beginning clothing: Vest

            Learn to read a commercial sewing pattern and understand the industry vocabulary.

            Learn sewing skills needed for many clothing items. 

December:

            Teen Project: Room Decor
            Scheduled during Christmas break. Create a project to spruce up your bedroom! Might be sewing or no-sew.
