Beginning Quilting - Level 1

Service Description

For adults and teens 16+. Skill level: Students should already be comfortable with machine use and able to sew a straight seam. There WILL BE homework each week. We will meet 4 times, for 2 hours. Friday evenings, Sept 19 & 26. Oct 3 & 10, 7-9pm. Learn the basics of making a quilt. Learn about fabrics and pre-cuts; Rotary cutters and rulers; Backings and fillers; Blocks and flimsies. We'll make a small quilt for snuggling on the couch. Materials list will be provided at the first class.
