Doll Clothes by Machine

Service Description

Ages 16 - Adult This class will meet for 4 consecutive Wednesday evenings. Aug 27-Sept 17th, 7-9pm. Student should already be proficient with the use of a sewing machine. The small size makes doll clothes tricky; proficiency and accuracy when sewing is essential, including around tight curves. Class will focus on the techniques needed for clothing construction and using a commercial pattern. These skills also apply to clothing for people. We will make a T-shirt, skirt, and overalls. Skills introduced will include zippers, velcro, gathers, knits & woven fabrics, snaps, waistbands and belt loops.
