Kids' Hand-Sewn Doll Clothes

Service Description

Ages 7+ We will meet 4 afternoons for 2 hours, Mon-Thurs, Aug 3-6, 2-4pm Child should already be comfortable with threading a needle and making knots. Child should be able to follow a drawn line while cutting fabric. We will use simple patterns to make multiple clothing items- a dress, top, and pants. As time allows, they can make multiple garments, and add trims if desired. Patterns are available for several popular doll sizes- 18in such as My Generation, 15in such as Welly Wishers, and baby dolls such as Stella. Child will receive patterns to keep and reuse at home, and techniques will be taught according to the child's level of skill. Parent will receive a guide to help the child develop their skills in the future.
