Tween/Teen Room Decor

Service Description

This class is for age 10 & up and will be 3 consecutive afternoons from 2-4pm. Mon, Tues, Wed, June 23-25 Student must already be comfortable using a sewing machine independently. A household iron, a staple gun, and a hot glue gun will also be used in this class. We will make 3 custom projects for a bedroom- an appliquéd throw pillow, a standard pillow case, and a fabric-covered memo board. Supplies needed- bring to first class: Throw pillow: 1/2 yard primary fabric, 1 (or more) fat quarter accent fabric. The 2 fabrics should have a high contrast. Standard pillowcase: 3/4 yard primary fabric, 1/4 yard (NOT a fat quarter) accent fabric, one package coordinating rick-rack or piping. Message board: 3/4 yard fabric, 6+ yards ribbon trim, 10 motifs of similar width as ribbon-buttons, decorative bows or flowers, etc.
